Muckamore put great emphasis on welcoming children from all backgrounds and the result of this hard work can be seen by the ever-increasing number of children playing cricket from varied upbringings and backgrounds. The additional fact that club coaches go into numerous local schools to run coaching sessions reinforces the club’s cross community ethos.

The future of youth cricket at Muckamore Cricket & Lawn Tennis Club is indeed a very bright one, with cricket teams at several age groups and that talent being brought through into senior cricket.

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT

Muckamore Cricket section have launched a new Cricket Academy aimed at young players between the ages of 14-19 to help nurture the natural talent these young players have and help elevate them to the next level.

The goal of the Academy will be to product young cricketers with raw talent and them them better understand the fundamental of the game and help them progress their own game to the next level.

Led by our Cricket Development Officer, Ryan Haire, these young players will soon be playing top level cricket at Muckamore and who knows what further levels await them.
