- To help develop young, up and coming cricket and tennis players to reach their maximum potential.
- To help promote the games of tennis and cricket across a varied range of ethnic, cultural, social and religious areas.
- To promote togetherness with its members to ensure they all feel part of the wider ‘Muckamore Family’
What the Future holds?
We are striving to take Muckamore Cricket & Lawn Tennis club to the next level of sporting achievement. Like every club we strive to be the best at the sports we play, but at Muckamore our aim is to partner ourselves with the right people and organisations that recognise the importance of potential, foresight and youth development so that they may benefit from the wider ‘Muckamore Family’ .
Like every club, we only want what’s best for our members, and constantly strive to improve on what we have at Muckamore to help develop the cricket and tennis stars of tomorrow.
It is this reason that the club are seeking approval to build a state of the art training and playing facility for both cricket and tennis. Our goal is to have a new 3G (3rd Generation) artificial surface built on our existing ground to aid in the development of both sports. This will allow both sections to enjoy training and playing facility all year round.
We also want the local community to benefit from these new improvements with plans to incorporate football and hockey pitches allowing more local teams to enjoy their sport and develop their skills without the worry of weather issues.
This may be seen as a ‘pipe dream’ but where else do you aim if you don’t aim for the top!
