Tennis has been played at Muckamore for around 100 years and this makes Muckamore Tennis Club one of the oldest in Ireland. Muckamore tennis players can look with justifiable pride at the 100 year partnership with the Cricket club as it stands as the oldest surviving joint cricket and tennis club in Ireland.

Muckamore Tennis section boasts to having 4 sand filled artificial grass courts at Moylena, all of which are flloodlit. These courts prove the ideal location for all year round tennis.

This is evident as the club boasts to having several tennis teams of varying age and ability playing in both the Winter and Summer leagues.

League Teams

For the upcoming season Muckamore are entering 2 teams in the men’s singles league, 2 teams in the mixed singles as well as just having 2 teams compete in the recently completed Winter league.

Tennis Ladder

The desire to play tennis as often as possible at Muckamore, will see the creation of a summer Tennis Ladder. This will give the tennis players more match time as well as a competitive game in what will prove to be a very exciting club competition.
